L'Alchimista a Tavola is a cooking school, which offers classes open to everyone.

The cooking school headquarters are located by the Ristorante Vecia Brenta of Mira - Venice.
The school offers the chance to organize cooking lessons inside some of the Villas of the Riviera del Brenta, classes featuring cooking sessions along the River Brenta and in the countryside of the lagoon.

The classes take place in a comfortable and well-equipped kitchen where everything is set for cooking. A small blossoming garden of aromatic herbs offers the opportunity to spice up the basic cooking courses and the creative ones.

There are in fact two types of classes offered by the Alchimista: one to recognize the essential ingredients necessary to start cooking and the other for cooks that feel confident enough to learn a little more with "creative cooking" courses.

Furthermore the cooking school offers some particularly interesting classes:
- "Tasting and Sampling (nature's back roads)": single classes with final sampling of food.
- "The Gastronaut": classes feature guided visits to local markets, fairs and typical spots allowing students to feel and check different cooking experiences.
- "Thinking of Babette": interactive dining with your host

Among the classes offered, which is the best suited for beginners in the field of cooking?

The basic class teaches how to recognize ingredients, principles of cooking, basic cooking tools and equipment in the kitchen up to and including menu planning and it is best suited for beginners.
A portion of the class will be dedicated to Venetian cuisine, proper handling techniques and sampling of the dishes prepared according to the recipes.
